CABviaActiveSync v1.5 is a very useful application which adds a shortcut in windows context menu for sending a .cab file to your pocket pc through activesync. This tool will save you couple of clicks and will make your life easier !

Here is how it work:
- CvAS installs on your desktop PC, and adds a right-click context menu for CAB files
- When you click the menu, the CAB is automatically parsed, copied to your ActiveSync directory, and a regular ActiveSync install is initiated
- When the install is complete, the CAB file stays in the ActiveSync directory, meaning you can un/reinstall in future, without having to archive the CAB away somewhere.

Go to the programs folder and find the CABviaActiveSync.exe and right click - properties - compatability tab - then check "run this program as administrater" Apply and retry ... BAMMMM I like this toool a bunch .. good luck

Dosen't work installed the .exe and when i go to CABviaActivesync it says: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application." Anyone else got same problem or a fix?

This program works great with Activesync 4.5 on WinXP SP 2 and my HTC Touch! Awesome! I love not having to copy the CAB files to the device, then delete the files from the device after installing. I just copy them to a folder and right-click install and done! Although I am not noticing the file being moved to the Activesync folder, it stays where I originally put it, but that's ok with me! Kudos! Great Program!
