FreeCaddie is a completely free golf rangefinder, it runs on your phone and uses its GPS capabilities combined with our course file data to tell your distance to the front, center and back of the green.
FreeCaddie requires a Windows Mobile Smartphone or Pocket PC device with either:

I have massive problems installing the free caddie software onto my N 5800. With two IT experts unable to do it....I have my doubts about this app. If anybody has a recommandation on how to do it, other than the obvious way, pls let me know

works great on my htc tilt. But better have a full charge on the battery at start. Got the same yardage as my buddied sky caddy.
