Oh, and my comments below were based on using the latest v1.0.0 downloaded directly from the developers website...

Does NOT work on TP2 - in fact, I don't know how this works on ANY WM device with a built-in GPS as the program cannot be configured to use the Windows Intermediate Driver to gather GPS data. It expects an EXTERNAL GPS device which is lam-o! I also noticed the program does NOT seem to full uninstall itself after you remove it leaving about 300k of crap around (for what purposes who knows). Junk IMHO

Program has no real value. Compass heading was wrong most of the time, and slow to update as you move. Program did not take me back to my starting point for the Destination. My GPS receiver is accurate so the problem is with the program. Needs more work to be considered reliable.

Whereis is a map and navigation program for pc and mobiles here in Australia, maybe elsewhere I dont know. I was wondering if you calling your program Where is would cause any copyright problems? considering there both for GPS.

Update. Go to the developer's website for latest version. I had been using 0.5 version. The program at ver. 1.0 has advanced a great deal. I'm still not sure about the compass direction though, need to test further. Otherwise, great work!

Great program, has many uses like finding the car or hotel when visiting a new city. For those looking for Net CF 3.5, check here. Download, then with cell phone connected to PC, run the program. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=e3821449-3c6b-42f1-9fd9-0041345b3385 Some questions, the direction arrow doesn't seem to work, or maybe I don't understand it. It seems to point in a random direction and not towards the destination. Also the left and right side of the arrow flashes--is that an indicator I need to change direction? Can't figure it out. Same comments as others: need to change screen messages, consider "searching for satellites" and "no satellites" instead of "error receiving data". In response to rondude, no need to have any other program running. Confirm Where Is works on HTC Touch Diamond.
