The program is pretty attractive to look at, and seemed useful, until I discovered that it saves its notes as UTF-8 encoded TXT files in the program directory. That's very inconvenient, but there's no way of overriding it. Also, the file names are inflexible -- just a short word like Note or Memo, etc. with a number from 1 to 9. Not very informative, and there's no Save As or File Open command. It opens the same files in multiple tabs each session. There's no way of toggling word wrap, and no search feature. The size of each file is limited to about 30k, as well. All in all, considering how long NET CF apps always take to launch, and the rather large size of this one, a program like Pocket Notepad can do more with only 50k, and, much, much faster.

Is this made in Basic4ppc or what? Great app, although i prefer the default task editor, this seems more like a text editor (and not a very bad one)
